The Edge of the Universe

The last 2 encounters with Marina make you wonder how close to death we get all the time. How many times in your life were you a second away from dying? Thats not really whats important right now though.

Your time. My time. The end. We hold our arms close to our chest and avoid reaching out to it, but it grabs us in the end. You wonder if you are to have a grand death. If your death gets to be postponed and saved for one true end, what makes it so special? Are you fulfilling some sort of prophecy? How far can it be pushed - Can you try to die on purpose to see if you're saved? Is it even possible to escape this fate now, if you're saved when you get too close to the edge? Are there other strings being pulled, what would happen if you didn't do what she said?

Ultimately you know its in your nature to do what your told, and in the nature of being a living being, you will try to avoid death. You wonder how far off your death is. You assume you will die in action somewhere, rather than getting a death by old age or natural causes. How far can Marina's angel act go anyways? Someone drowning can be saved by being taken to the surface, someone surrounded by killer gas can be saved by being moved to fresh air. What if its not something she can save you from? Like a heart attack or a tumour or something?

You find it useless to speculate since you will likely not get any answers, and if you will, they'll come from Marina herself. You try not to think about it too much.
